Open Internet Nepal is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities by enhancing their digital skill, capacity and knowledge.  We work more specifically in the areas of digital empowerment, digital safety and technical capacity building focused on Child, Youth, Women including other vulnerable and marginalized communities.  Our capacity building and awareness initiatives are designed to promote resilient digital society in Nepal. Through targeted programs and outreach efforts, we aim to bridge the digital divide and ensure that all segments of society can benefit from the opportunities provided by the internet.

Key focus areas
Digital Literacy Programs
We organize workshops and training sessions on basic and advanced digital skills, internet safety and cyberseurity practices. Our programs are designed for all stakeholders incorporating schools and local communities and we also provide tailored training programs to meet the specitic needs of various vulnerable and marginalized communities including child, youths, women and LBGTIQ.
Awareness Campaigns
Our awareness campaigns spans on a wide araay of raising awareness and it revolves around the key internet issues of data privacy, online safety and digital citizenship. We engage in different level of awareness campaigns that includes social media engagement to partnering with other organizations and stakeholders to amplify our awareness campaigns and outreach broader audience.
Capacity Building
We organize workshops, trainings, seminars and panel discussions to enhance technical and advocacy skills as well as knowledge in the areas of emerging issues of Internet Governance. These programs also includes closed networking events and discussions forums where relevant stakeholders can exchanged experiences, collaborate on projects and stay updated into each others work within the community. Similarly we also provide mentorship opportunities where young people interested in internet governance can have access to mentorship from experts and seasoned professional on related topic.
Open Internet Nepal is dedicated on building the digital capacity of individuals and communities across Nepal. By raising awareness and providing user and community driven tailored training, we aim to create a digitally inclusive society where everyone can leverage the benefits of internet and ensure internet remains force for good.
