Who we are
Open Internet Nepal is a Non Profit based in Nepal which is the registered entity for the Internet Society Nepal Chapter. We aim to serve the people of Nepal by promoting digital freedom, cybersecurity, and multi-stakeholder participation in internet governance. We are focused on bridging the digital divide through advocacy, capacity building, and research, focusing on local issues and global principles. We Support the growth, resilience, and equitable use of the internet in Nepal, emphasizing inclusivity and sustainability.
As a Internet Society Nepal Chapter we engage and involve in training and capacity building programs, policy engagement, community-building activities, and collaborative projects with local and international organizations. We adhere to the principles of Internet Society and work on empowering people to keep the Internet a force for good: open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy.
